The hotel is within walking distance to the downtown area. There are theaters, restaurants, and various activities.

The lobby is nice and makes a good first impression upon entering the hotel. However, the amenities are fantastic. For example, the 24-hr fitness room has various machines and weights for visitors to use. When the weather is right, the outdoor swimming pool is open. If you are into exercise, this hotel is perfect. The hotel rooms are spacious as well, so you can probably do a few exercise moves while in your room.

The staff are polite and attentive. They respond promptly to issues and put forth their best efforts to comply with your needs. Definitely a plus for the hotel itself.

The parking price is crazy. What's more, you really have no other choice, so you're stuck with paying the hotel's price!

The location is not that simple to navigate. The premises is surrounded on a few sides by freeways. There is continuous traffic pounding away. If you are familiar with Hartford then you probably know about the I-91 and I-84 intersection in the downtown vicinity. This is where the hotel sits.

An update is needed. The beds are uncomfortable as they are old and bumpy. The carpet has stains, drains don't work properly, and more. Of course, rooms may vary in their décor and some may be a bit better than others, but overall the hotel could do with a lift.
