Hotel DoubleTree by Hilton Hartford Downtown (Hartford, USA)

A number of guest reviewers mentioned the hotel's convenient access to downtown Hartford. The hotel is also an easy walk to the XL Centre and Bushnell Park.

A number of previous guests to the hotel were really impressed by the pool, hot tub and sauna commenting that these amenities were the highlight of their stay and would ensure their return.

A number of business travelers commented on the spacious and well stocked Executive lounge on floor 22 of the hotel. Business travelers found this little sancuary very relaxing.

A number of travelers stayed at the hotel at the same time as either a mass sporting event or convention of some sort, these unfortunate souls had to contend with masses of teenagers largely unsupervised. Complaints to hotel management about noise and delays to other amenities such as room service largely went unresolved due to lack of staff.

Guests to the hotel should be aware that it is located next to a very busy freeway. Some guests signalled that the noise from the freeway was unacceptable. Other previous guests also mentioned loud and noisy air-conditioning and vending machines throughout the hotel as disrupting their stay.

A number of business travelers with early morning meetings and other guests wanting to get away swiftly mentioned how annoying it was to have such slow elevators operating throughout the hotel. Some guests reviewers noted that we also little shabby and worn and were in need of an upgrade.
