Although the rooms at this hotel don’t seem to have been refurbished in a while, guests tend to find they are clean and comfortable and offer ample space. The beds offer a good night’s sleep and the selection of amenities is considerate.

Guests love the location of this hotel. It’s just minutes from the motorway yet places you within a short walk of a number of popular Manchester attractions. When you want to explore the city centre and Salford Quays, the A56 provides easy access to these areas.

Rates at this hotel certainly hold appeal for those guests who wish to keep to a budget. Reasonable room rates aside, the addition of free Wi-Fi and complimentary guest parking offer additional value. The meal deals and kids eat free offer are also attractive.

While the lack of in-room air-conditioning doesn't seem to bother all guests, some do comment that they found the rooms a little on the hot side. Fans are provided but appear to make little difference, especially if the weather is particularly warm.

Reviews of the Coach House restaurant are typically positive but a number of guests did find that the cooked to order nature of breakfast versus a breakfast buffet led to some unexpected waits in the morning.

Guests are generally happy enough with the standard of the rooms but the bathrooms seem like they may be less impressive. Several reviews indicate that low water pressure equals disappointing showers. Plus, the shower heads are rigid and the lighting is dim.
