Guests were upbeat about this hotel's location just off the A38 and five minutes' drive from Derby city centre. Many remarked that it was a fairly quiet location despite the proximity of the road. Moreover, it was conveniently close to the hospital, supermarkets and petrol stations. The ample free parking was a bonus for motorists, who also liked the way they were within striking distance of the M1 and M6 and area attractions like the Peak District National Park, a paradise for walkers and cyclists.
