Excellent Location for Old Town
This hotel is centrally located for easy access to Old Town and many of the historic sites Philadelphia has to offer. You are only 5 minutes away from Christ Church and the Betsy Ross House and near Independence Hall. There is a major highway nearby and the hotel is near to a subway (SEPTA) stop making it easy to access the surrounding areas including the airport. You are within walking distance to many shops, restaurants and cafes and this is a great location for easy access to Market Street.

Charming Hotel Feels Like a B&B
This boutique style hotel is located in a building that is over 100 years old which adds its own charming characteristics to your stay. Rooms are lovely and bright, exceedingly clean and well appointed with comfortable beds.

negative:
Highway Traffic May be a Bit Noisy
Some rooms in this hotel face the street and you can hear street noise and highway traffic into the evening. The hotel is also near a bridge that has very bright lights that can shine into your room in the evening. If this is bothersome for you, be sure to request a room on the opposite side of the hotel.
negative:
Continental Breakfast Could Be Better
This hotel offers a continental style breakfast that may not be suitable to your tastes. If you are looking for a full, hot breakfast, you will be better served trying a nearby restaurant. The offerings seem to be more sugary style foods which won't leave you feeling full.
negative:
Rooms Are Not Very Spacious
While this is a charming, older building, this usually means that rooms are typically small, and that is definitely the case here. While small, they do a good job of making the room feel very comfortable.
