Speedy check-in system is most welcome
If you’re someone who loathes all the protracted fuss that invariably comes with checking-in and out of hotels then you’ll love staying here. The Red Roof Inn Laredo operates a super-quick system which gets you in and out with the least amount of fuss possible. Excellent!
positive:
Location is central to everything
The highly central setting of this hotel ensures you're never short of places to eat, drink, shop and be generally entertained. Honestly, there are more restaurants, shopping centers, movie theaters and nightlife venues within striking distance of this hotel then you’d care to shake a credit card at.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Hotel Wi-Fi is limited to lobby area
Although some guest rooms are fortunate enough to get a limited Wi-Fi signal, it is generally the case that you’ll have to go down to the lobby area if you want to make use of the hotel’s free internet service. Not very handy if you’re planning on doing some work while you're away.
negative:
Bathrooms could be improved
Numerous visitors have been left feeling distinctly under-whelmed by the state of the bathrooms in some of the guest accommodations. Limited towels, moldy ceilings and clogged-up tubs were the most frequent complaints aired by disgruntled visitors.
negative:
Ground-floor rooms have exterior entrances
Unlike the rest of the hotel, the guest rooms on the ground floor have exterior entrances which look out over the car park. Suffice to say, this motel-style set-up does little to minimize potential noise and/or security concerns.
