About La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Laredo I-35
Conveniently located right off the I-35, La Quinta Inn Laredo I-35 is a charming property with palm trees and delightful courtyard pool that offers comfortable and updated accommodation.
Like the rest of the hotel, the rooms are newly updated. Each features “Smart” TV with plug and play functionality, work desk, telephone, coffee maker, iron, alarm clock and hairdryer.
The courtyard pool, with its palm trees and sun beds, is undoubtedly the star of the show. Motorists will be happy to find ample free parking, and techies that they have ultra-fast Wi-Fi that is free of charge and available throughout the property.
A basic breakfast consisting of continental staples is served every morning, but guests will be spoiled for choice when it comes to the other two meals. Nearby Charlie’s Corona of Laredo is a casual restaurant and is very highly rated.
The city’s main shopping mal, Mall del Norte, is just two miles drive to the north.

Denny's right next door
While there are a large number of restaurants nearby, many guests singled out Denny's as a favorite. Most were not satisfied with the hotel's breakfast, so it was always useful having a Denny's so near at hand, whether for breakfast or one of the other meals of the day.

Convenient for border crossings
It seems that quite a number of guests were heading to Mexico. They found the hotel to be in a good spot for a final night stateside before heading off early morning to cross the border.

Very friendly staff
Again and again guests would mention how friendly the hotel's staff were. They seemed to have the kind of attitude and demeanor that was a major asset for someone on the hospitality trade.

Breakfast room much too crowded
Guests staying at busy times did not seem to have a good time at breakfast. They mention that the breakfast room is very small, much too small for the number of guests the hotel is able to host. As a result, many could not find seating, and simply found the whole area too crowded and chaotic.

Limited parking
Guests mentioned that there really wasn't enough parking. The lot is shared with a Denny's restaurant, so when that restaurant was busy, guests would often struggle to find a parking bay.

Relatively poor value
Guests seemed to find a number of small issues with their room. Cumulatively, these of course added up to a much bigger issue. Given that they felt their room rate was on the high side they felt as if they had received somewhat poor value for money.
