Outdated and worn rooms
The general state of the rooms was usually criticised by former guests that visited the hotel. As well as supposedly showing considerable age in terms of décor and amenities, the rooms - with reports of damaged furnishings and ineffective air conditioning among other problems - were at times said to be showing evident wear and tear.
