The Long Beach location of this hotel was very appealing to many guests, since it put them within walking distance of the beach promenade, the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center, and good dining and nightlife possibilities. Furthermore, there is a grocery store nearby and the hotel is said to be handy to all the area's other attractions, as well as The Queen Mary and the cruise ship terminal.

Those who stayed were happy to find that the hotel offers free Wi-Fi and free parking, and taking into account the decently-sized rooms, the overall value for money offered by a stay here was thought to be decent by some guests.

The staff here was generally thought to be friendly and professional — although a few guests reported experiencing less than accommodating service during their stay.
