Positive Reviews
positive:
A great location.
It's difficult to imagine a better setting; close to so many attractions. Apart from the obvious ones, Nashville Toy Museum, Cooter's Place, Texas Troubadour Theater, Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park and Fort Nashborough, are all just a short drive away, Also, Nashville International Airport. Tip! ... for family fun, it's worth the 10 minute drive to the Hendersonville Family Fun Center.
positive:
A well maintained and comfortable hotel.
The approach to the hotel - grounds and lobby - is clean and well maintained, with none of those tell-tale cigarette butts or litter to spoil things. Rooms are clean and comfortable with all the furniture and equipment working as advertised. Bugs aren't welcome here and don't they know it!
positive:
Hotel is better than Nashville itself!
Nashville is something of a disappointment but, not only is the hotel in a great location for visiting attractions in the area, it's also very quiet, and so it has a real attraction for light sleepers. There are plenty of fast food places to eat and there's a Walgreen's on the corner. In many ways, it couldn't be better placed.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Some rooms need 'revolving' doors
Read what you like into the fact that some rooms in the older section are prone to heavy traffic .. which usually goes on through the night. The newer section doesn't appear to have this 'feature'.
negative:
Dying for a coffee
There's no coffee maker in the room which is a real disappointment. One solution, though, is to pop along to McDonald's, stock up on coffees, put them in the fridge and microwave them up. Pity about the coffee maker though.
negative:
Room issues.
If you're unlucky, rooms can have stained carpets and old and stained bathroom furniture. Request additional pillows and bed linen and you are likely to be refused.
