About Ledgestone Hotel
Situated in a terrific spot just off the I-82, Hotel Ledgestone Suite Hotel offers modern self catering accommodation suitable for both long and short term stays.
The suites are compact and well designed. Each features a separate bedroom and living/dining room, fully equipped kitchen, work desk, telephone two flat screen TV’s, alarm clock, hairdryer and clothes iron.
The suites are very self-contained and there are limited public facilities available. Reception staff are, however, available to assist and the hotel has 650 square feet of meeting space, so business people can easily hold meetings onsite.
There are no dining facilities onsite, but those not self catering will find decent places nearby. Reception staff will be happy to offer great recommendations.
The Yakima Convention Center is just 700 yards from Hotel Ledgestone Yakima. Those looking to get in a round of golf will find the Yakima Country Club just over three miles to the east.
Positive Reviews
positive:
Easy access from the interstate
Guests loved how close the hotel was to the interstate exit. They said that it made the hotel extremely easy to find initially and was also great during the course of a stay since there were no busy streets to negotiate before they were on the highway and speeding along to their destination.
positive:
Complimentary coffee and tea
Some guests mentioned that they really appreciated the free coffee and tea available just off the lobby. It was said to be served in a particularly beautiful area, and some guests enjoyed sitting and socializing there rather than being cooped up in their room.
positive:
Kitchen very well-equipped
Several guests mentioned that they found the kitchen to be very well equipped. The hotel is popular with long-stay travelers and they were happy to have all they needed to make themselves some decent meals.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Bathrooms lack a bit of privacy
It was reported that the bathroom doors are not a regular doors, but sliding doors with runners above. Some guests felt that this made their bathroom a lot less private, with gaps around the edges. The situation may be awkward for guests staying in the room who are not in an intimate relationship.
negative:
Can be a bit noisy
Guests in rooms facing the interstate often complained about the noise. It seems that the rooms are poorly soundproofed, so light sleepers should request rooms facing the other way and perhaps consider bringing earplugs.
negative:
Very lightly staffed
A number of guests mentioned having difficulty locating staff when they needed to. They describe a place that maybe isn’t so much a hotel as a residence with security and concierge. In any event, it seemed they were often left to their own devices.
