Positive Reviews
positive:
Excellent value for money
While guests hardly felt the room rates were cheap, they did feel that they were not bad compared to what else was available. California as a whole has a reputation for expensive hotels, and Silicon Valley almost more than anywhere else. With this in mind guests believed they paid a low rate for a decent hotel in an extremely expensive area.
positive:
Property well taken care of
Guests reported that the property was looking good, both inside and out. They felt that the managers had a handle on things and that routine maintenance and upkeep was not being neglected, as can sometimes happen at other chain properties.
positive:
Lots of restaurants nearby
While guests didn’t really say whether they were good or not, several commented that there were a number of restaurants nearby. They certainly didn’t feel that they needed to travel very far for a bite to eat.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Disposable plates and cutlery at breakfast
While the reviews of the food itself were mixed, a few guests pointed out that the hotel makes use of disposable plates and cutlery at breakfast time. Aside from the environmental concerns this raised for some, guests simply thought it really cheapened the whole atmosphere.
negative:
Breakfast hours a bit limited
A couple of guests felt that the hotel stopped serving the breakfast much too early. They felt that guests had unique and very different schedules so thought that many others, like themselves, would appreciate an hour or two longer to be able to make it down to breakfast.
negative:
Very small fitness center
Though not mentioned often, it was reported that the fitness center is particularly small. There really weren’t many machines to use, and even if the room wasn’t crowded guests had difficulty trying to duplicate their normal workout.
