La Posada Lodge & Casitas, Ascend Hotel Collection (Tucson, USA)

The lodge is surrounded by manicured private gardens featuring mature trees and lots of colorful plants and foliage. Guests appreciated the scenic surroundings and many chose to spend their time lounging by the pool or admiring the picturesque scenery from the comfort of their patios. There are no noisy bars or clubs in the vicinity which meant that guests could enjoy peaceful and quiet evenings.

The rooms have been described as tastefully decorated with tiled floors and hand-painted pieces of furniture. Guests appreciated the traditional decor as well as the convenience of having all the necessary mod-cons in their rooms such as microwaves and fridges which enabled them to prepare and store their own food.

The outdoor-pool was described as being clean and well-presented with plenty of comfortable loungers for sun bathing. The on-site restaurant was also praised by the guests who said that both the food and the service were of high quality. The bar was said to have a pleasant and lively atmosphere and proved a popular place for guests to unwind and socialize.

Some of the guests mentioned that they experienced difficulties when it came to setting the temperature on the air-conditioning units whilst others said that they couldn't use the air-conditioning at night due to the loud noise they produced.

Those who wanted to connect to the internet from their rooms were disappointed to find that the signal was quite weak. Many had to take their devices closer to the reception area where the signal was said to be better.

Guests objected having to wait to be seated at breakfast and also mentioned that there were delays when it came to replenishing items that had run -out.
