Kvosin Downtown Hotel (Reykjavík, Iceland)

This aparthotel apparently boasts a fantastic location, right smack bang in the middle of the Reykjavik Old Town, only a short walk away from all of the major tourist attractions — including Hallgrimskirkja —  and just minutes from a wide array of bars, cafes and restaurants. Moreover, people were positively surprised to find that there was no night-time noise, despite the very central location.

Guests loved the attention they received from the concierge staff members, mentioning them as being very friendly and a great help in planning their Icelandic adventures, or recommending a local spot to eat at. Furthermore, Kvosin Downtown is said to provide a delicious, nicely presented and filling breakfast option in the restaurant next door, and there is apparently also a neat little bar in the lobby, for those in need of refreshments after day trips.

The rooms and suites at Kvosin Downtown were thought to have very attractive modern, yet homely decor, plenty of space and a high standard of cleanliness. On top of this, those who stayed mentioned enjoying exceptionally comfortable beds and excellent amenities, like a Nespresso machine, quality toiletries, a rather well-equipped kitchenette and high-end technology.
