This hotel is a non-smoking hotel which is great for those who don't imbibe and like their room to smell fresh, rather than like stale, second-hand smoke.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Things can get noisy
The walls and ceilings at Wingate by Wyndham Lake Charles Casino Area are thin and this can make for a noisy stay, as you can hear the goings on in the room next door and the sound of footsteps above your head. In addition, traffic from the Interstate can add to the noise in your room. If you want the quietest stay possible, be sure to book a room on the top floor, near the front of the property.
negative:
The hotel needs a facelift
This property could certainly use a facelift, especially when it comes to the bathroom fixtures which have seen better days. In addition, the furnishings and carpeting are tired looking, which makes for a less-than-appealing stay.
negative:
Some rooms are small
Some of the guest rooms here are small. So if you are travelling with more than one person, have a lot of luggage in tow or need extra room to maneuver, be sure to ask for a larger room upon booking.
