Clean and Quiet Location
This is a no frills budget location very near Silver Dollar City and just a few miles from Branson. A convenient shuttle runs guests to and from Silver Dollar City throughout the day; some have also found it to be within easy walking distance. There's a clean outdoor pool, grills for cooking out, an outdoor deck with vending machines and a pleasant area offering picnic tables with umbrellas beside some lovely shade trees. A small convenience store, German restaurant, pizza parlor and zip-line attraction are located nearby. A simple continental breakfast buffet is prepared for guests daily, consisting of mostly cereal, pastries, frozen waffles, fruit, juices and coffee. Excellent value for the buck.

Basic, Clean Rooms
Nothing to write home about, but tidy and well-equipped with decent bathrooms and separate entrances in classic motel style. Spacious and adequately furnished. The kitchenettes are usually supplied with all the items required for simple meal preparation.

Superb Staff
The owners are very friendly, treating guests like family. If you need help with anything, don't hesitate to call on them. Housekeeping is excellent as well.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Could Use a Refurb
Although most didn't complain since the price was right, a few reported outdated decor and amenities. Carpeting, cookware and appliances could all use some freshening up. Some disliked the smell in their room, calling it "musty.".
negative:
Location Issues
Situated on a steep hillside, some guests have been nervous driving up/down, especially when there is icy pavement. Get directions on the closest destinations near Branson for dining, etc., from the staff and don't exclude Indian Point from your list of possibilities either. There may be less traffic that direction.
negative:
Areas of Lack
Some reported no refrigerator in their unit, there is no elevator on-site, and others disliked the sparse options at breakfast.
