positive:
Ideal location with plenty of things to experience
Staying at this hotel will put you in a less stirred area, yet with plenty of things to see and try around. There is a metro station only a five-minute walk away. Namdaeum Market and Myeong Dong Area are nearby, and lots of shops and restaurants are open until late at night.
positive:
Welcoming and cordial staff at your disposal
Most guests have praised the staff for being friendly and eager to answer their questions. The personnel seem to speak fluent English, too, which makes communication less challenging. The 24-hour front desk (which also stores luggage) accommodates guests' needs even better.
positive:
Clean and enjoyable rooms
Rooms at this hotel are generally spacious, very clean, and equipped with all the necessary facilities. Even the smaller rooms are usually appreciated as functional.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Korean-style rooms a bit disappointing
Visiting Korea and opting for a traditionally decorated room might seem like a good idea. Nevertheless, guests have often complained about the Korean-style rooms, because the bed is not quite comfortable. There is also this common opinion that the authentic room ambiance you get from staying here doesn't compensate the comfort provided by beds from regular rooms.
negative:
Not a great view
Despite the great location regarding the options that guests will have around the hotel, rooms do not strike with a view that would keep you gazing in the distance. Even so, you can always give up on trying seeing something interesting from the window, or you can simply go outside for a live experience of Seoul.
negative:
Only men have access to spa
For a hotel that boasts a wellness centre, not allowing women into the spa can be a bit disappointing. Also, some guests have complained about having to pay a certain fee to access this men-only spa.
