Hotel Travelodge by Wyndham Virginia Beach (Virginia Beach, USA)

Virginia Beach Travelodge is well positioned if you plan on spending much of your time on the beach. It's really close to the boardwalk. You'll also find yourself within easy walking distance of a variety of dining options.

The staff here are a good bunch of people and will do their best to sort out any problems that you have with your room.

The pool is a nice place to relax if you don't feel like heading along to the beach. It's open late if you fancy a dip at night.

The Wi-Fi at Virginia Beach Travelodge isn't great. The connectivity is pretty poor and if you do manage to get online, you may find that it keeps on dropping out. This gets incredibly frustrating very quickly, especially if you have important matters to tend to.

Several guests have noted that the amount they were charged at the front desk was different from the total they were informed they would pay when they made the reservation online. Therefore you should be sure you are aware of exactly how much you are paying and what any potential charges are for. One thing you won't have to pay for is breakfast, which is just as well, because it is average at best and not very fresh.

The hotel's level of cleanliness is not especially good. The carpets feel a bit grubby and you'll see a fair amount of dust. Also, several guests have complained that there are various different types of bugs in the building, including cockroaches. On top of this, the property could use some pretty serious renovations and much of the furniture is ready to be replaced.
