Close to the best of OBX
The hotel is close to great features of OBX and is just across the street from public beach access. Many of the rooms are ocean front and have tremendous views. Plus, the pet friendly hotel is just across from a pet friendly beach.

Basic breafkast buffet
The breakfast buffet has limited options and is only available for a short time each day. Here, the early bird gets the proverbial worm and those who wake up late will find the best food gone with no replacement options.
negative:
Really pet friendly
This hotel is extremely pet friendly. You'll find pets, and pet evidence, everywhere. The carpets are worn and stained and the entire hotel has a slight animal odor. Pets are even allowed on the sundeck.
negative:
Old and worn
This hotel has been here for a time, although under different names. That time is starting to show. The room features and fixtures are old and in need of upgrading. Overall, the hotel is a basic stay, which surprises many who expect the higher cost for the beach location to translate into affordable luxury.
