It's always easy to find fault with any hotel - and this place has its fair share. At the end of the day though; it's clean, well run and the staff are friendly and helpful. Even the fact that there's free parking can save a fortune, but the hotel tariffs are also relatively cheap. Crucially, you are close to facilities and attractions, thus reducing hassle to a minimum.Enjoy!

There's a smell here that just won't go away and it reflects the fact that many rooms are let on a long term basis. It really is 'home' for a number of people. They have pets and children and cook, incessantly, a range of strong smelling meals.

Corridors are painted darkly with carpets to match. Add to the pot, unnecessarily subdued lighting and the overall, dismal impression is one that could be improved very easily.

Rooms are a bit faded round the edges and things are missing that should be there; but, that's OK and staff will do what they can to correct things. Completely outside their control is the incessant noise coming from the pool. Yes, rooms overlooking it have the best views, but if sleep is what you're after, get as far away from it as you can!
