Not ailing for the drinker.
It’s a little bit of heaven for ale loving resident guests, probably used to staying in hotels where bar choices are limited, to say the least. Here, there is quite a vibrant bar, obviously popular with locals who are drawn by the selection of real ales.

Pillow heaven, plus 4 poster bed option.
Laundry is clean and crisp and there are plenty of pillows to use, or discard, as you wish. There are room choices including 4 poster and overall, this is a good B+B experience with the real bonus of that public bar and evening food.
positive:
Town and country location.
Enjoy a great day out to maybe Chatsworth House and the Derbyshire countryside and an evening trip to Sheffield’s Lyceum or Crucible theatres or an arena concert. You can combine both, easily and within the course of a day.

negative:
No Wi-Fi in rooms.
