About OYO The Briary
OYO The Briary is a family run guest house set in an old Victorian property, located in a residential area, five minutes’ drive from Sheffield’s city centre.
Individually styled guest rooms boast simple decor and en suite facilities. Free Wi-Fi, flat screen TV and tea/coffee facilities are standard. Ironing facilities are available upon request.
The Briary offers free on-site parking. There is a private garden and a full English breakfast is included in your stay.
Although this hotel offers breakfast, there is no restaurant or bar on the premises. Try Jameson’s Café and Tea Rooms, located nearby, for traditional British cuisine. The Broadfield, also located close by, serves pub grub and features a full service bar.
Sheffield Antiques Emporium, Ecclesall Woods and The Botanical Gardens are close at hand. Endcliffe Park, Eyam Hall and Sheffield Weston Park Museum are a short drive away.

Pets are welcome
If you like to go on holiday with your favourite canine companion then you're in luck because this guest house accepts pets. Fees and restrictions may apply to this amenity.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Room temperatures are inconsistent
The guest rooms at The Briary do not have air conditioning which makes for uncomfortably warm temperatures in the summer months. Likewise, the rooms get quite cold in the winter as the heating doesn't really do the job.
negative:
The property needs TLC
This guest house needs some TLC, especially in the guest rooms. Walls in need of a new coat of paint, a damp, musty smell and furnishings that have seen better days can detract from your stay.
negative:
There is a shortage of electrical outlets
There are not enough electrical outlets in the guest rooms for all the devices that require charging these days. This could be problematic, especially if you are travelling on business, so you might want to bring an adaptor with you to give you a bit more charging space.
