The Grand Union Motel is pretty well placed and should put you close to wherever you need to be. It is especially handy for the race track and to get to downtown, both of which are walkable or just a short drive away.

The water pressure at this hotel is decent and it's easy to regulate the temperature, so you can have an enjoyable shower in the morning.

The hotel has its own swimming pool, which is a good place to relax within the property.

The Grand Union Motel has an overwhelming musty odor running through it. There is a stale feeling to the air. Also, the levels of cleanliness leave a lot to be desired. The carpets feel dirty and worn and there is often a layer of dust over the air conditioning units. The whole place could really do with a thorough clean.

The mattresses at this hotel are sheathed in plastic covers. This means that, as well as making an annoying squeaky sound every time you move, they also get very hot and are quite uncomfortable. On top of this, the bedspreads are very dated.

The Wi-Fi signal at this property is pretty woeful. You might not be able to connect at all and, if you can, then you'll find it to be slow and unresponsive. If you need to deal with anything important online, you should probably do so before you arrive.
