This hotel won't break the budget in the expensive beach area. Plus, you'll get a good value for the money spent. Beside a comfortable room with a large bed and work area, you'll also get a free hot breakfast, a swimming pool, and free newspaper to start the day.

The staff at the hotel is friendly and personable. The rooms are cleaned on time, the breakfast area is staffed and maintained, and the helpful front desk answers all questions and concerns with a smile and great attitude.

The hotel is located right off the interstate and there are many restaurants and shops nearby. The beach is only about a five-minute drive and the hotel provides convenient access to the nearby towns of Boynton Beach, Del Ray, and West Palm Beach.

This hotel is a mildly refurbished Holiday Inn, but still needs a lot of updating in order to be considered on par with that chain. The carpets are stained and haven't been replaced. The air conditioning units are the type that stay in the window and loudly run whenever they are on, and the TV provides only the most limited of channels.

Although the WiFi service is free, don't depend on getting any service at all. The strength of the signal depends on how close you stay to the lobby. Even in close rooms, the signal is slow and weak. If you need the WiFi for work purposes, it is neither strong nor reliable enough to keep you connected.

While the hotel does advertise "nonsmoking rooms", those are mixed in with the smoking ones. Guests frequently smell cigarettes through the walls and doors and smell is very heavy in the hallway. Plus, the designated smoking area just outside the lobby doors gives an overall bad impression.
