Hotel The Greenside (Glenrothes, United Kingdom)

The hotel is perfectly situated at the foot of the Lomand hills. The view from the rooms is superb if looking towards the hills. The area is very quiet and secluded so a good nights rest is assured in the comfy beds.

Previous visitors to the hotel have said they were delighted with the price charged as due to the location, felt it would be twice the price. The hotel is still a little dated but a very comfortable and has a cosy atmosphere.

There are lots of very happy people reviewing the food served on a morning. All of the freshly prepared locally sourced food is piping hot when served and theres plenty of it to keep you full.

There is an issue with the strength of the Wi-Fi in the rooms, Guests have been unable to get onto the internet at all. This may be due to the hills in the area.

The hotel has had a full revamp recently including carpets, furniture TV's and fittings. Reviews before this time state it was drab and in need of updating which has been done. New reviews are clearly better but guests are still unhappy with the quality of the hotel. It appears to still be going through a renovation in certain areas.

There appears to be a lack of staff in the hotel from the reviews left regarding the service people have received. The staff who are employed seem to be multitasking so if attention is required at the reception, those wanting food have to wait and vice versa.
