Hotel The Crown (Amersham, United Kingdom)

Location was a regular highlight for past visitors that stayed at the Crown Inn. Along with a central - and supposedly peaceful - location in Amersham, the accommodation is also seen as convenient for travelling to nearby points of interest such as Watford and High Wycombe.

A popular aspect of the inn with many was the complimentary breakfast served up each morning. As well as a big selection of items, the breakfast was often described as being cooked to an excellent standard.

Previous guests were regularly thrilled with the level of service delivered by the Crown Inn. From the restaurant staff to the front desk personnel, all of the accommodation's workers were typically labelled as really accommodating, considerate and pleasant overall.

Although they were commended in most areas, some of the rooms at the Crown Inn are small - according to the general sentiment of former visitors. In addition, it was also noted that the lighting in the inn's rooms was somewhat underwhelming, to the point where some said that the accommodations were overly dark.

From creaking floorboards to the sound of others staying at the accommodation, noise-related problems have been occasionally reported in the past by previous guests of the inn. This was mainly attributed to the lack of adequate room soundproofing.

Whilst the overall quality of the Crown Inn was considered to generally be at a high level, this hasn't stopped some past visitors feeling that staying was a touch too expensive. In particular, the price for food and drinks was seen as overpriced at times.
