Hotel Tarrytown House Estate on the Hudson (Tarrytown, USA)

The hotel has about 28 meeting rooms and a conference space of 2787 meter square, which is more than enough to hold business meetings and retreats. Guests can even book the rooms here making it a very convenient stay. Some of the guests even found it the perfect place for big events like weddings too. The main dining room is big enough to host such events with many people.

Guests could not stop appreciating the staff members who were very polite and courteous. Being thorough professionals, they knew their job very well and worked efficiently. They are very attentive and cater to the smallest of the concerns that the guests can have.

The ‘Sleep-in-Sunday’ package has been recommended where in the guests can extend the Check-out time and enjoy the brunch. The delightful brunch consisted of a good choice of items that were cooked well. Service was excellent without long waiting periods.

Most of the guests were of the opinion that the outdoor pool needs to be cleaned well and on a regular basis. The surrounding floors were slippery. Moreover, some of the guests were disappointed because of the fact that the kids were not allowed in the outdoor pool. The number of loungers available next to the pool was also insufficient forcing some guests to sunbathe on towels on the concrete floor.

Few guests felt that the rooms were in need of some renovation. The water pressure in the taps and shower was very low making it very difficult to take a bath.

Since there were no elevators, guests with lots of luggage and elderly guests had a tough time climbing a flight of stairs to reach the upper floors.
