Budget travellers were happy to find that a stay here offered the requisite comfortable beds and clean rooms they required, at a price that was very reasonable for Iceland. On top of this, there is apparently a good kitchen with all the bells and whistles needed for self-catering and the heated floors were also very much enjoyed.

Guests said that there was a convenience store, bakery, supermarket and some other options for drinking and dining to be found close by. The fact that free parking was available on site was appreciated by those exploring Iceland by car.

People often mentioned that this guest house was a bit too far away from downtown Reykjavik to head there on foot, opining that it was a spot best suited for those with a car.
