There is very little faulting the location of this hotel. Set minutes from the Mississippi River, you'll find a wide array of restaurants within walking distance of the property. Plus, many of the city's best-known attractions such as the French Quarter and iconic Bourbon Street are within two miles.

Guests tend to be impressed by the standard of the accommodation at the Springhill Suites New Orleans Downtown. The suites are found to be a clean condition, there's plenty of space, and the provided amenities are well-maintained.

The free breakfast served at this hotel sounds like it's something to look forward to. The food is described as excellent and there is more than enough choice available on the buffet. Furthermore, the breakfast staff is friendly and attend to guests well.

Several guests mention that it is quite typical that the housekeeping staff don't attend to your room before 5.30pm - just when many guests will be returning to the hotel to get ready for the evening. Apparently, you'll need to specifically ask if you require your suite to be attended to earlier in the day.
