Positive Reviews
positive:
Great budget accommodation in an upmarket location.
Guests need not look any further for affordable accommodation, centrally located. The Springfield Hotel has all basic amenities one could possibly need when travelling to London, and the surrounding area is filled with everything else one might need.
positive:
Cleaning done during one’s stay.
Guests spending their days out and about will find their room to be cleaned while they’re gone. Having a clean bed to climb into at the end of a tiresome day goes a long way to relieving one’s stress, and encourages a great night’s sleep.
positive:
Friendly staff to make the stay better.
Guests at the Springfield Hotel will find themselves put at ease by the on hand staff members, who go out of their way to ensure their guests are happy. Nothing is too much too ask, and guests are supplied with free maps to the surrounding area.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Limited parking spaces.
Although the website advertises free parking, it works on a first-come-first-serve basis. There is limited parking, and guests will have to make their own arrangements if they are not able to secure a spot for themselves.
negative:
Maintenance is constant.
As with any building, anywhere in the world, some areas require maintenance more then others. As the hotel is in such a popular location, closing rooms to bookings to fix minor problems is a hassle, and therefore some small issues are left to be handled once the demand for reservations quietens down.
negative:
Beware online bookings.
Guests making their reservations online through third party booking agencies are recommended to confirm their bookings with the hotel itself, as the hotel cannot be held liable for a fault through a company they have no affiliation with.
