Positive Reviews
positive:
Outstanding room at a budget price.
Guests felt that they got much more than they paid for with modern rooms that looked like they belonged in a more expensive hotel. With bonuses like soft linens and a duvet with a removable cover, guests were happy with the value at La Quinta Inn & Suites San Antonio The Dominion.
positive:
All the basics covered.
If you want a clean room and a comfortable bed, look no further than this hotel. Guests reported spotless bathrooms and exceptionally clean rooms overall. And the best part, is that a good night's sleep is within reach with mattresses that some thought were better than home.
positive:
Extras went a long way.
Guests loved unexpected amenities like a fully stocked business center with printing and faxing capabilities, as well as a convenience store to pick up things like bottled water.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Carpet let down.
First impressions could have been better at La Quinta Inn & Suites San Antonio The Dominion. Worn and unclean carpet greeted guests in both the hallways and elevators, but were thankfully not an indication of the cleanliness in the rest of the hotel.
negative:
Breakfast didn't always hit the spot.
Guests weren't writing home about the lackluster breakfast that could have used some improvement. While some guests were happy with the Texas-shaped waffles and other hot menu items, others were dissatisfied with a limited week day selection, as well as long line-ups, and food that wasn't restocked.
negative:
Earplugs, anyone?
Hallway noise was a common complaint amongst guests of this hotel. Thin walls and heavy doors that slammed loudly were a nuisance with an otherwise pleasant stay. Guests wished that management would upgrade doors so that they would close more smoothly.
