Great location in the Latin Quarter
Looking to stay in a place that is away from the touristy crowds but still has what you are looking for in a Parisian holiday? This hotel is perfect! In this area, you will be amongst the locals that appreciate better quality with access to great bakeries, shops, restaurants and some of the city's best bars and cafes for people-watching.
positive:
Friendly manager and staff
The staff are always at reception and are ready to assist you with any questions that you may have about Paris; whether you need recommendations, a cab hire, or just want to know where to buy the best macarons, the staff are there to help.
positive:
Decent sized rooms with nice décor
While the rooms may not be palatial, the majority of guests were satisfied with the size of the rooms and appreciated the classic ambiance rather than most modern hotel decorations.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Breakfast can be a hit or miss
While some guests really loved the breakfast buffet, others thought that it was a bit overpriced and lacked variety.
negative:
The Wi-Fi can be slow at times
Even though most of the guests did not have the same issue, some felt that the Wi-Fi connection at the hotel was far slower than it should be for the price of the hotel. This issue made it a bit problematic for some guests that were traveling on business.
negative:
The metro is not super close
Some guests felt that the metro station was too far away from the hotel. Most guests could walk to the station in just under ten minutes but others would prefer to have a closer station. If you have issues walking but still would like to use public transportation, there are several bus stations just outside the hotel.
