Positive Reviews
positive:
Comfortable, well equipped rooms
Sedona Real Inn and Suites rooms are well appointed and spacious with large bathrooms. They have good amenities, including a microwave, fridge and DVD players; an added perk, you can rent movies at the hotel. Suites are especially nice with separate living areas and patios.
positive:
Convenient location
The hotel is located outside Uptown Sedona in a quieter, scenic area away from the tourist buzz. However, there are some dining options within walking distance and it's a quick drive into the center of town and the area's numerous attractions.
positive:
Great service and facilities
Front desk staff and the concierge are helpful at planning activities and providing recommendations, which is great as there is so much to do and choose between in Sedona! The free breakfast offers hot and cold options and plenty of selection and the outdoor pool is a nice treat on a hot day. If you travel with a pet, the dog-friendly park onsite is a great bonus.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Rooms without views
Make sure you look into room selection when you book. Many rooms don't have views of the mountains, which is a shame in Sedona. Also note, only suites have patios. Additionally, there is no elevator to the second floor so if you have any mobility issues, request a ground floor room.
negative:
Noisy rooms
The air conditioning is loud and the wall thins. Guestrooms over the breakfast area are also noisy in the morning, and housekeeping staff can be quite loud.
negative:
Basic amenities
The hotel pool is rather small with very few umbrellas and the gym is quite basic. If you are looking for a hotel with a lot of onsite amenities, this may not be for you although the grounds and park are good with kids and pets.
