Positive Reviews
positive:
Walking distance from a variety of shops
Despite its suburban highway position, the hotel is conveniently located next door to a shopping area which includes various stores selling groceries, clothing and homeware. There are also coffee shops and a good choice of restaurants.
positive:
Great pool and fitness center
The large outdoor pool is heated and has a pleasant patio adjacent. The 24-hour fitness center is well-equipped with plenty of the latest machines and there are even personal TVs installed on each. Headphones and towels are available to borrow if required.
positive:
Clean rooms and public areas
In-room furnishings, linen and surfaces are kept very clean. Rooms are basic but sufficient and beds are comfortable. Communal areas are spotless and the building as a whole is well-maintained.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Too many additional charges
Additional charges apply to facilities you might expect to be included in the standard room rate. Things like Wi-Fi and water incur extra fees, as does the on-site parking. Breakfast is not included either, but there is an in-room coffee-maker. Seek a package that includes amenities to avoid surprises.
negative:
Varying levels of customer service
Reports of customer service are varied, with some commenting on friendly and efficient staff, while others report unwelcoming and unhelpful personnel. It's hit or miss as to whether you receive assistance carrying your luggage, or concern at any problems and requests you might have. Fortunately, restaurant service is consistently good.
negative:
Significant noise issues
Situated next to a freeway, rooms on the west side of the building are subject to constant traffic noise. If you're a light sleeper, insist on a room on the quieter east side of the building. Room walls are reported to be thin, so you may experience disturbance from other guests.
