If you’re a sucker for a vista then see if you can wrangle one of the guest rooms on the top floor: some of them have boast some marvelous views of the dramatic mountains and sprawling forests.

Set on Main Street and within very easy reach of all the restaurants and shops that the charming little village center has to offer, this hotel’s highly convenient location is undoubtedly its most impressive feature.

There is a bus stop directly in front of the hotel where a free local shuttle service stops every 20 minutes or so. This bus is very handy as it runs all throughout the local area, including up to the ski area, all throughout the day.

You may want to pack some ear plugs on the off chance you get allocated a downstairs room. Why? Because you cannot help but hear the noise people staying upstairs make when they wake up and move around first thing in the morning.

Many guests have complained about the comfort , or to be more accurate, the lack of it -- afforded by the beds within the guest rooms. Something to bear in mind if you’re not a fan of rock-hard sleeping surfaces...

As well as being quite restrictive (bays are pretty limited), the parking lot here is also full of potholes. On top of that, there is also the small issue of bears to be aware of: make sure you never, ever leave any food in your car overnight.
