Hotel Rocky Inn (Long Beach, USA)

It's not always the case in budget motels but at this place, the staff at the front desk are quite polite and friendly. They try their best to make you feel welcome and will help out if you need directions.

This place has a few restaurants and some stores nearby, but it's the fact that you can get to the beach in ten minutes that's great. You're also not too far from The Queen Mary here too so as a base for checking out Long Beach; it's not bad.

If you are on a budget, then this is the place for you. It's incredibly cheap, and you'll save a lot by choosing this place over bigger chain hotels in Long Beach.

Even smokers find the smell of stale smoke that permeates this motel a little too much. They say that the entire place reeks of smoke and no matter where you are you can smell it. The non-smoking rooms might as well be smoking as all the smoke gets in under the doors.

The rooms aren't cleaned properly in between guests and you can see that there are serious issues with housekeeping throughout the place. It's a big problem and guests aren't at all happy that they are paying to stay in such a mess.

The place is a bit sketchy to say the least. Guests have found that they can't walk out at night as they feel unsafe and that the parking lot isn't the best place to leave your car. It's certainly not a tourist spot at all.
