Guests were very impressed by the attentiveness of the hosts, and how much thought they put into the rooms, property, and service. Many guests remarked about how the property's owners were always willing to engage in conversation with them, offer suggestions about things to do in the area, and do whatever they could to make stays special. Guests also liked how the hosts added several exterior perks, such as fountains and porch swings, to make the atmosphere more homey. Generally, guests thought it was very clear that the hosts thrive on creating a memorable setting, and succeed at that goal.

Guests loved being able to park their cars at the start of their stays and not worry about using them until leaving the property to go home. They mentioned being able to easily walk to the Cape Fear Riverfront and downtown areas. Guests also liked that they were steps away from so many restaurants, so they never had to eat at the same places twice unless they wanted to. Furthermore, guests appreciated that even though the location is central, it's also quiet, because the property is away from heavy traffic.

Guests liked that the hosts offered them a "grab and go" breakfast each morning. It included hot and cold cereals, pastries and granola bars. Guests agreed that the breakfast was certainly substantial enough to help them start their days rig
