Hotel Rival (Stockholm, Sweden)

Hotel Rival is a 4 star rated property in Stockholm. It is located in the Södermalm District and less than one mile from the city centre. The nearby Mariatorget tram stop for connections throughout the city is just metres away. The hotel opened in 2003 and has the art deco style of a 1930's cinema, with 99 guest rooms and suites. The rooms overlook either a courtyard or Maria Square and feature en-suite bathroom, Egyptian cotton sheets, iron and ironing board, mini bar, room safe, telephone, loudspeakers with iPod connections, plasma screen television and DVD player. DVD's can be borrowed from the reception and a Playstation or Wii games machines can be rented. Free WiFi is available throughout the entire hotel. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are offered and the restaurant serves a Swedish cuisine with international and innovative dishes. The theatre can seat 700 people and offers regular entertainment and shows.
