Location, location, location...
Many travelers rave about the hotel's location, a two-minute walk from the MIT campus, and not much further to the Red Line T-Stop for a quick trip into central Boston, though fit travelers enjoy walking there over the Longfellow Bridge. There are several restaurants within walking distance, and guests also like to stock their fridges at nearby Legal Seafood.
positive:
Lots of room to relax....
The rooms are widely described as clean and spacious, with comfortable, up to date furnishings and decor. Families and groups of friends love the two-bedroom suites, noting that there are three televisions and two bathrooms. The full kitchens are widely appreciated, too. Many guests enjoy a great night's sleep in the cozy beds, and describe both the hotel and its surrounding neighborhood as quiet at night.
positive:
Top-notch hospitality...
The front desk staff have received many positive reviews for their friendly, welcoming, and professional customer service. Guests who have stayed longer than a day or two gratefully report good day-to-day variety in the breakfast buffet, and often go on to note that the dining area, gym, and pool are kept very clean.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Pricey parking...
Few drivers fail to mention the high price of parking, but also note that parking is very expensive everywhere in Boston.
negative:
Get up early...
Several guests have noted that, though it is large, the dining area can get a little crowded, and, as many of the guests are teens touring nearby MIT, it's best to get up a little early to have your pick.
negative:
Squeeze in your workout...
A few fit travelers have noted the gym is on the smaller side and can get crowded. The pool isn't particularly large, either.
