It's fair to say the guest rooms at this hotel really are a step-up from what you'd normally expect to find within this price range. Indeed, the dark wood furnishings and wood-effect floors actually make many of the accommodations here look and feel pretty sleek.

Parking is pretty compact
Be warned: many of the parking bays here are flanked by structural columns. This means that, more often than not, you have very little space at all to open your door and get in and out of your vehicle. Irritating.

It is worth knowing in advance that this hotel provides no paid or gratis breakfast option whatsoever. Happily, there are a few different eateries within an easy walk that afford various morning meal offerings.

The absence of an elevator means you'll have to take the stairs if you're allocated one of the top-floor rooms. Suffice to say, you may want to keep your luggage allocation down to a manageable minimum, just in case...
