The hotel is set in an old building which has a certain charm. The rooms are clean and while compact, there is plenty of room to store luggage and clothing. It may not be a place to lounge around in, but it’s a good place to stay for a short London trip at a low price. Finsbury Park underground station is 10-minutes’ walk away and there are also local buses close by.

The rooms have been described as dirty. Some guests reported stains on the furniture, including the chairs, beds and walls. The curtains were reported as old and smelled unfavourably and the bathrooms were not always cleaned thoroughly with evidence of past guests being left behind.
