It has just what you need in a room. The units are clean and the beds are comfortable. There is a free breakfast and all this comes at an affordable rate. Best of all, the location makes for a quiet night's sleep.

The location is a bit outside the busy area of town, but still provides convenience. It is close to many restaurants and it's a short drive to local attractions. Shops, gas, and convenience stores are also located really close.

Although Econo Lodge stays usually just give basic amenities, this one is a bit better than those. There is an indoor heated pool with a whirlpool and the rooms have flat screen TVs. The lobby area is very welcoming with couches and a fireplace.

If you receive friendly and helpful service, count yourself lucky. Most service encounters end unpleasantly. There are often problems with booking and reservations requests gone awry and the amount charged to the card is often wrong which takes a lot of work and time to correct. Attentions brought to management are often met with disagreements. The front desk is closed at night and left unattended during the day if staff has other business.

Breakfast is no more than fuel for the day. The items are mostly continental in nature and the limited hot offerings are mass produced, watery, rubbery, and tasteless.

The hotel is heavy with smoke, both inside and out. The designated smoking area is right at the main entrance and there is a heavy smoke smell in the lobby and hallways. "Nonsmoking" rooms might mean the last guest smoked there, but staff "cleaned" it before you arrived.
