Negative Reviews
negative:
Night-time commotion may disrupt light sleepers.
Although the surrounding area of the resort is relaxed and offers a peaceful retreat, some guests have complained about the noise level in the hotel. Guests complained of the walls being paper thin where they could hear the conversations of their next door neighbors through the walls. Bring your ear plugs for a good night's sleep.
negative:
Beautiful, scenic area but disappointing hotel.
While many visitors enjoyed the Gatlinburg area, many guests have reported that this hotel needs a major cleaning. The floors were dirty, elevators were dirty, and rooms had an unidentifiable, awful smell. Cockroaches and other types of bugs were found throughout the hotel.
negative:
Bugs, bugs, and more bugs.
Standing out from those aforementioned concerns regarding age and ill-upkeep, cockroaches, spiders, and ants were noticed throughout the establishment. This made for a very, uncomfortable experience for guests.
