There is plenty of green lawn space around the various buildings and barns for guests to relax in during fine weather. This is particularly good for children who have ample space to play sports in.

Many former guests have issues with this accommodation, however, those who were booked into the better rooms found them to be comfortable, clean, with all required facilities and that they offer good value for money.

The accommodation is well situated for visiting local sights. The West Midland Safari Park is around fifteen minutes’ drive from the accommodation and the Severn Valley Railway is just a five-minute drive. Other activities such as paintballing are also available.

As this accommodation consists of a range of different buildings it can be hard for guests to get an accurate picture of what exactly they’ve booked. Apart from accommodation within buildings, barns and a house there is a mobile home, but many of these spaces don’t live up to expectations.

The rooms and apartments need to be upgraded and refitted. Those staying in converted buildings fare little better than guests in the mobile home and also contend with damp and non-functioning facilities. Among other things, there can be cracks in walls and no soundproofing, so that noise carries from adjoining rooms and outside.

It’s difficult to find any staff members to ask for help or advice or indeed to check in. Phone calls and even knocking on doors are often ignored. The lack of helpful staff or professionalism in dealing with guests is particularly aggravating to visitors who find themselves in accommodation which has broken or malfunctioning furniture, fixtures and fittings.
