Others add that the restored NWMP Barracks on nearby Main Street served as the lodgings, office and jail for the police officers of Canmore before 1929, and love that visits to the nearby mountains, lakes and museum can be easily arranged.

Several guests say that the pool is large, and note that the water temperature is comfortable, the area is clean and the chlorine level is appropriate. Others add that there are plenty of loungers around, the area is well lit, and appreciate that the pool is open during convenient hours.

Many guests say that breakfast includes farm fresh eggs, a wide assortment of breads and freshly-brewed coffee, and say that food is cooked to order. Others add that the breakfast area is spacious, the windows let in ample sunlight, and the menu caters to a wide palate and different dietary preferences.

Some guests comment that the bathrooms are tiny, the bedding is not fresh, and bathroom drains take a while to clear. Others add that space between furniture feels cramped, the furniture looks drab, and there is little space for luggage and wardrobe storage.
