Almost every review had nice things to say about the people who work at Palm Hills. They are warm, friendly, and professional, but it was their attention to detail which most impressed previous guests. No request was too much trouble for the staff, and they were always ready to greet their guests with a smile. The brothers who run this hotel try to treat everyone like family.

Guests who made it to the breakfast in the morning were very impressed. They found everything to be cooked perfectly and appreciated the ample selection of items available. They were also quick to note that the ingredients used seemed very fresh.

Guests found the quirky décor- a mix of modern and antique aesthetics- to be charming.

An unfortunate number of guests had problems with booking their room. Most of these stemmed from a communication breakdown between Palm Hills and third party booking websites, such as guests who booked through a third party and arrived to find Palm Hills never received their reservation, or guests who tried to cancel their reservation but were charged anyway. To make matters worse, many reported that they had extreme difficulty contacting the hotel directly by telephone in order to resolve their issues.

Previous guests recommend investing in a GPS if you want to stay here. Palm Hills is located at the end of a very long dirt road. Guests who arrived after dark hard the additional hindrance of poor lighting along the road to contend with. Some even arrived to find the lights off at the hotel itself, which made finding it that much more difficult.

Many guests were disappointed that there was no desk or workspace in the room. They also noted the absence of a dressing table. While many guests enjoyed the oversized bathtubs, they also would have appreciated a proper shower instead of the detachable showerhead with the tub.
