A well-situated hotel
It’s a good place to be for shops, a few restaurants and a number of commercial offices.
It’s a good place to be for shops, a few restaurants and a number of commercial offices.
Members of staff, generally, are very friendly and do everything possible to ensure a happy stay for guests.
You can come back here after a busy day, kick your shoes off, prepare a meal and carry on working. This is, of course, very cost effective too, so also has real appeal for leisure guests seeking to prune their budget.
Restaurant service falls well below par with staff hanging around chatting rather than attending to the needs of their customers. Maybe it’s not surprising then that some dishes are served warm, rather than piping hot. The location of the restaurant, facing the main road, isn’t ideal.
Rooms are small, although that’s quite usual. Beds though are very uncomfortable and you are aware that the place has seen better days. Take a look at the greying and ageing laundry for confirmation of this. The air conditioning unit is very noisy. Walls are also very thin indeed so there’s a noise problem, even at higher floor levels. Room service is outrageously expensive. It’s as if they don’t want to do it.
Breakfast is less than successful. The area itself can only seat around 40 people so queuing becomes a regular ritual. There’s not much choice but you can get freshly prepared pancakes etc.; but only on the few occasions when the chef is there. The nearby Starbucks is seen by many as a solution to the ongoing breakfast problem.
