On the beach, dining and shopping nearby.

In addition the Spanish Galleon nightclub and the OD Pavilion & Amusement Park, right on the beach, offer some great entertainment options for those wanting to head out for the night.

positive:
Lovely pool areas, clean rooms.
The rooms here are reportedly cleaned to a very high standard, and some of the lodgings are said to have fantastic ocean views — just make sure you book for this, if you have your heart set on it. In addition, guests said there were some very nice pools, both indoors and outdoors, in addition to a lazy river, and the kids particularly seemed to love this.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Some say dated with small rooms.
Some of those who stayed at Ocean Drive Beach & Golf Resort thought the rooms they were assigned were definitely on the 'too small' end of the scale. Others occasionally described the hotel as being dated, or at least rather old, but most of those who stayed did not mention any concerns around this.
negative:
Occasional booking issues.
Issues with bookings were sometimes experienced by a small number of guests, meaning people sometimes ended up not getting the rooms, beds and room fittings they were after. While this did not always mean they got inferior lodgings to the ones they booked, they would have still preferred to have had their original choice.
negative:
Some small issues.
Not everyone was fan of having tiled floors instead of carpet in their rooms, while some people were unhappy with what they felt were hard beds and pillows, and few felt their kitchen areas were less adequately equipped than they should have been.
