Positive Reviews
positive:
Quiet location.
The peaceful location of the Prince Resort was perfect for many. In North Myrtle Beach, removed from the main activity of Myrtle Beach, this family-friendly hotel was a nice respite from the frenetic vibe found elsewhere. Guests loved that the beach wasn't too busy and that you could watch the world go by, or fish off of the pier in front of the hotel.
positive:
Awesome views.
Guests of this hotel were pleased with the spectacular ocean views they had from their rooms, enjoyed even more on the balcony. Guests recommended asking for a room as high up as possible, and in a corner unit, for maximum viewing pleasure of glorious sunsets and pristine blue water.
positive:
Home away from home.
With the home-like atmosphere and amenities like a washer and dryer, guests felt like they could settle right in. Many were pleased that they opted for more space over the traditional hotel room, and really enjoyed spreading out in the spacious accommodation, some of which is as much as 1,400 square feet.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Individually owned units.
Guests staying at this hotel found that the condition of condos varied quite a bit. Because units are independently owned, it is up to the private owner to maintain their condo. Some guests were dissatisfied with the condition of their accommodation, and had issues with things like sagging pull-out couches, stained carpets, mattresses that had seen better days, and lack of dishes for the kitchen.
negative:
A bit run-down.
Several visitors to the Prince Resort commented on the pool areas not being up to par. They felt a refresh or deep clean was needed in these areas, along with a thorough window cleaning on the property, and more attention paid to the condition of the lobby and stairwells.
negative:
Fussy key cards.
You might find yourself inconvenienced by unpredictable key cards. Several guests found themselves locked out of their rooms on multiple occasions.
