Hotel O'Cairns Inn and Suites (Lompoc, USA)

The owners also run the hotel and try really hard to make the experience a pleasant one. They host a happy hour with free drinks, give popcorn with DVD rentals, and offer free ice cream for a snack. They are very nice and are interested in your personal opinions for a better stay.

The rooms are quite spacious and most have leather recliners for relaxing and watching big screen TVs. There is free Wi-Fi, as well as free drinks and snacks. Once you're there, you won't have to leave.

This is a great area for wine drinkers. You can walk to the Lompoc Wine Ghetto and there are several other wineries within easy walking distance. The front desk gives wine tasting coupons, too. Downtown Lompoc is a quick walk for many entertainment and restaurant options.

The hotel is a bit older and has been refurbished from a chain. The rooms are a bit tired and could use with some painting. The bathrooms are small and not modernized and the exterior looks weathered.

Although the breakfast is free, it leaves something to be desired. There is no quick buffet and guests will have to sit down and eat more leisurely at the local cafe, which has slower service. The quality is also not the best.

There are some problems with water temperatures in the shower and the beds and bedding aren't of premium quality. The thin walls will let you hear your neighbors. It's just a basic stay which offers nicer amenities.
